![]() I’ve continued playing the second installment of the The Sims franchise because The Sims 3 and 4 both have flaws that ruin the experience for me, even though I like aspects of both of them: I hate not being able to create custom worlds in The Sims 4 and I also think it’s too easy and family-friendly, it doesn’t have interesting stories and drama among households like its predecessors so I have a hard time getting invested in the premades The Sims 3, on the other hand, is a game that I enjoy and I’ve played a lot, but ultimately I didn’t transition from TS2 to TS3 because I hate when sims stand idling with their eyes looking empty between actions, they seem robotic… somehow TS2 is more immersive to me than TS3 even though the latter was published almost 10 years later. I have high expectations for this game, I love The Sims 2 and I’ve been playing it since I was 7 years old (I’m currently 24), but I would like to experience something fresh that can please my taste. I’m really eager to see what the Paradox team has worked on, as Rod Humble is part of the development team and he was a part of the TS2 and TS3 teams. I don’t know the details on what they’re gonna show: is it going to be a trailer, or (I hope) actual gameplay. ![]() Today the new life simulation videogame by Paradox will be shown. ![]()
